The Common Core State Standards (CCSS) have been adopted by 42 of the 50 states (plus Washington, D.C.!). In 4th grade we follow CCSS​ for Math and Language Arts. You can find our grade's standards HERE.

States have adopted these standards so that students across the United States might have access to the same material and be equally prepared for long-term success. If you'd like to see a simple animated video about why the standards were created, watch HERE.
